About the Show

A journey through sound, memory, and discovery.

Each broadcast is a doorway into deep cuts, restored tracks, and immersive listening experiences that bring the listener back to a time when radio meant discovery.

From psychedelic rock to progressive masterpieces, every set is carefully curated to flow as one continuous experience.

Sometimes mellow. Sometimes hard. Always intentional.

Mr. Held’s Musical Journey

Before the signal… there was the stage.

Music began not behind a microphone, but on a stage — with a band, live instruments, and the energy of a room filled with sound. Those early years shaped everything that would come later.

AGAPE was the first band to help launch the inaugural Cherokee Jazz Festival in 1971 — a moment that captured the spirit of live music at its purest.

There were no shortcuts — just instruments, amplifiers, and the drive to create something real. Every note mattered. Every performance was a chance to connect.

That experience — the feel of live music, the flow of a set, the movement between songs — became the foundation for everything that would follow.

“It started with a band, a stage, and a sound — and it never really ended.”

Becoming Omega

From the stage… to the signal.

Over time, the stage gave way to something different — not a performance, but a transmission. The music was still the center, but now it could stretch, breathe, and flow in a new way.

That is where Omega emerged — not as a character, but as a voice shaped by years of listening, playing, and understanding what music can do when it is allowed to unfold.

Omega is the guide through that experience — moving between songs, opening doors, and connecting moments across time.

“I am Omega… a traveler of frequencies. Tonight we open another doorway through sound.”
